What’s truly amazing – until one habituates to the mammoth corruption of current U.S. politics – is how utterly unwilling today’s Democratic Party is to discuss issues that would paint Republicans in not merely in an unflattering, but in a criminally insane light.

While some of the issues presented by the Trump campaign’s approach to outside groups may seem novel, Trump is hardly the only candidate with blurred lines between his campaign and outside groups supporting him.

“Have some integrity,” she added, calling for salaries to be furloughed for the next shutdown.

As Big Money floods our political system, and some in power are intent on making it harder for certain people to vote, we need a movement to save our democracy.

At the highest levels of government, deep-pocketed polluters have friends ready to implement their agendas. The attack on science must be seen in this context.

After two years of Trump we may have overlooked the essence of his insanity: His brain sees only private interests transacting. It doesn’t comprehend the public interest.
