Clinton was secretary of state, so why is she so flat-footed on these foreign policy issues?

We won’t likely hear these questions asked in the final presidential debate, but their answers are critical to our democratic future.

But they deserve allies in media – who don’t just seek to promote the lesser evil – but a world worthy of our humanity and of our potential.

The United States is great at focusing on any sort of carnage and blaming ISIS, one of hundreds of groups in Syria, and building alliances with Sunni states.

If Hillary wins the presidency, she will be much like Brezhnev and Andropov, senior apparatchiks of an empire in denial of its own precipitous decline.

It will be up to the American people to push Hillary Clinton if she’s elected to realize this promise and not damage it with yet more intervention and military violence.

The Obama administration’s reliance on covert ops and prosecutions of whistle-blowers will be big black marks on its record and the effects of both will be felt long after this President leaves office.

Weakening America’s alliances, the likely result of Trump’s policies, is hardly the way to “make America great again.”
