The following pictures were taken to show the condition of the water that officials have only recently admitted is unsafe.

Before this past month residents in Flint were told that the water was safe. Now hundreds in the population are sick from lead contamination and some have even died from Legionnaires disease, a condition which can be linked with the dirty water.

Many have called for Michigan Governor Synder’s resignation, even bringing discolored water as proof to protest at the capital.

Earlier this month a State of Emergency was declared and the National guard was called in to Flint to help with the ongoing crisis.
