It is possible attacks will resume with the change in presidency in January.

The U.S. government makes it a priority to chase down and hunt suspected terrorists throughout the world, but does not look within its own country. Acts of terror are occurring every day on U.S. streets, like mass shootings and murder, with very little government focus.

So what is the solution? How can the U.S. rein in this epidemic of suicide among active duty troops and vets?

A high majority of U.S. tax dollars are not going to schools, universities, parks, roads, science, environment, or health, but to war. In order to shy away from this type of militaristic government, we need a peace president and congress.

"Burn and bury" kits that allow people to print out their own Confederate flag at home, suitable for burning.

So many tax dollars have been spent on the further militarization of the country. We no longer have the slightest idea what life might be like if, instead of 17 significant intelligence outfits, we had just two of them, or even one.

As long as we allow the top executives of our privatized war economy to reap unlimited rewards, the profit motive for war in Iran—or anywhere—will persist.

“If we had a political revolution take place in this country such as Bernie Sanders wants to initiate, it should include the removal of those neocons and war hawks from power and transform U.S. foreign policy into one that is positive and constructive.”

If the face long associated with modern mercenaries were more successful at his business, we might already live in a much more dystopian world.
