Most provide financial support to industry groups that are spending hundreds of millions of dollars on political activities, often to thwart polices designed to slow climate change.

"Instead of holding Big Oil executives accountable for price gouging consumers at the pump, the committee will be dominated by the interests of extractive industries."

The fossil fuel industry has done everything it can to gaslight the public into believing that we are all equally responsible for causing the climate crisis and that the industry was working hard to solve it.
