“U.S. leadership on climate change doesn't begin or end in Washington.”

By withdrawing from the Paris Agreement, Scott Pruitt and Donald Trump are turning their backs on American families, eating away at America's global leadership and standing alone on the wrong side of history.

Trump follows previous U.S. presidents who have undermined climate action: The only path to climate justice is people power.

There are so many ways we can slow and stop the burning of fossil fuels in the United States. But we need to get to work.

It will take nearly four years to complete the process for withdrawal, meaning that the final decision will not happen until after the 2020 presidential election.

I’ll start with myself. And every time I give up something to reduce carbon emissions, I’ll smile and think of President Trump.
