A first of it's kind to go to trail, the case was brought against Monsanto by Johnson, 46, a former pest control manager for a California country school system, who was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma.

Monsanto now faces numerous lawsuits by farmers, landscapers and consumers.

The lawsuit hopes permanent injunctions will be placed on these large companies, forcing them to stop selling and marketing their dicamba herbicide.

Biotech companies, including Monsanto, have all influenced the EPA in postponing these important and necessary meetings saying the speakers will be too biased.
