On the one hand, this year’s election seems to have historically low levels of undecided voters. But offsetting this is tremendous uncertainty about turnout and whose votes will be cast and counted.

The entrenched system is heavily weighted -- always has been -- against the interests of working people, women, people of color, the poor and others deprived of power by structural inequities.

Surveys show that, rather than reflexively voting Democratic, young Black voters are pessimistic any Democrat can make a difference.
