Opaque funds are masking donations to political causes.

Thomas, who attended at least two Koch donor summits, put himself in the extraordinary position of having helped a political network that has brought multiple cases before the Supreme Court.

The group is “getting involved earlier than ever in the presidential primary process,” and the ads as evidence of their “commitment to support a candidate in the Republican presidential primary who can… win.”  

When the next big disaster unfolds due to deregulation, don’t be fooled.

The Macdonald Laurier Institute then bragged about pushing a massive tar sands expansion.

“My hope is that they will thoroughly investigate their emissions and their impact on the community and draw what we believe to be an inescapable conclusion that Oxbow is an eminent danger to the life and health of people in Port Arthur and southeast Texas.”

“Mitch McConnell and the Koch brothers are not worth setting the planet on fire for,” said Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.

Together these interests broadly representing coal and petroleum producers are trying to prevent Pennsylvania from joining regional programs to curb carbon pollution.

“It’s a clear case of fear-mongering, setting up a straw man argument that is just not reflective of reality.”
