Mitch McConnell: We Won’t Vote on Garland Because the NRA Opposes Him

Mitch McConnell appeared on Fox News to discuss whether or not Republicans would finally vote on President Obama’s Supreme Court nominee, Merrick Garland.

In his shocking answer, McConnell flat out admits that they will not proceed with a vote because Garland is “a nominee opposed by the National Rifle Association.”

There you have it, folks. The Republicans in congress are so beholden to the NRA that they can’t even consider someone on the Supreme Court that is opposed by them.
