Elias Alsbergas is a research assistant at the Center for Economic and Policy Research (CEPR)’s Revolving Door Project, which aims to increase scrutiny on executive branch appointments.
"We have no choice but to take direct action to put our bodies on the line because petitions, sign-waving, and chanting—we tried that for the past 50 years and it hasn't worked, and we're out of time," said one arrested activist.
“Glaciers are the ambassadors of climate change. They make it very clear what is happening out there because they respond in a very sensitive way to warming temperatures.”
