Emilia A. Leese is an author, re-wilder, podcast host, public speaker, and magazine editor. She has also developed life skills and ethics workshops for underserved youth and has been a corporate finance lawyer for over twenty years. She and her husband Roger, who is also vegan, live in London and the Highlands. Her “Think Like a Vegan” podcast is streaming on all platforms. She contributes to the Observatory. She has contributed to online magazines, multi-city events, quirky merchandise, and non-profits throughout her vegan career. As her disability and chronic illnesses have become more severe, she has also devoted her unapologetic voice to a variety of publications promoting disability rights. Today, she shares twenty-four acres of Canadian forest with her husband, Matt, and the countless wildlife visitors who bless them with their presence. She is a contributor to the Observatory.
