Every one of us must question the experts, seek information from multiple sources (which means getting out of our own ideology bubble), and use critical thinking to figure out the truth.

To leverage and learn from humanity’s history regarding what fostered sustainability in the past, we need to know the outcomes.

“Let’s finally do something about it.”

If we do not dramatically and quickly improve our individual and collective capacity to resolve conflicts nonviolently, including when we are dealing with individuals who are insane, then one day relatively soon we will share the fate of those 200 species of life we drove to extinction today.

These measures are noteworthy because they don’t just regulate emissions or mandate transitions. They actually do things like help the economically insecure, create material incentives for individual change, restore ecosystems, and reassert the authority of local entities over corporate polluters.

It is not listed among shelters operating through the federal Office of Refugee Resettlement or on the state child care licensing website.
