What makes Trump dangerous is how well he leveraged his celebrity cult of personality into a potent political cult of personality. That’s why he reduces all of politics to person-to-person relationships with leaders, as with Putin.

If the U.S. government wants to play a constructive role in Ukraine, it should genuinely support this already existing framework for a solution to the crisis, and end the heavy-handed U.S. intervention that has only undermined and delayed its implementation.

Easier just to change the con artist's ploy about never being open to rank bribery.

“Reclaim Chicago,” a progressive, people-led democratic coalition, are attempting to reclaim their city. Corporate elites and corrupt politicians better beware of the power of thousands of grassroots Chicagoans.

It’s past time for progressive Democrats to stop focusing on the places they win votes easily, in the cities and the suburbs and to go where the Republicans win by default: rural America.
