Donald Trump is offering sweet incentives to stop Carrier from outsourcing jobs. Bernie Sanders is promising strict penalties.

With a continued willingness to listen to and learn from activists and explain their ideas to voters, these new leaders, along with the few true progressives in Congress like Senator Sanders who were traditionally kept out of the conversation, could build the kind of left that the United States and the world desperately needs.

Hillary Clinton seems to be building her campaign more and more on misleading alliances and distasteful attacks.

“Under my administration, Goldman Sachs execs and other Wall Street CEOs won’t go through the revolving door from Wall Street to government.”

The Clinton campaign has started throwing everything and the kitchen sink at Sanders.

A high majority of U.S. tax dollars are not going to schools, universities, parks, roads, science, environment, or health, but to war. In order to shy away from this type of militaristic government, we need a peace president and congress.

It’s the age-old ruse of divide and rule. Let’s not fall for that anymore.

The goal should be to disengage from great power rivalry and peacefully pursue economic and technological progress.

We will endure by holding fast to our integrity, by building community and by spawning new institutions in the midst of the wreckage. We will sustain each other.
