I can’t remember who recently said it, but the point has been made that we often call people heroes because it’s easier to sacrifice them when they’re given this honorific and simply move on.

Certainly they want Trump to look bad for not loudly condemning the Russians for this alleged atrocity.

“The pandemic clearly shows that expensive endless wars that cost $6 trillion from taxpayers make Americans less safe as they take funds from critical needs like healthcare.”

Building a new anti-war movement that is connected to the domestic anti-police struggle is the only thing that can rein in U.S. militarism.

The shabbier and more senseless the war...the more hollow its objectives and justifications...the more one-sided our advantage...the more distorted the news from the front...the more random the casualties on all sides.

A shadowy group stoking U.S. hostility with Iran and the evidence that it is funded by Saudi Arabia and the UAE.

Like his predecessors from Truman to Obama, Trump has been caught in the trap of America’s blind, deluded militarism.

“The COVID-19 crisis has made clearer than ever the flaws in our system, one that prioritizes military spending and global instability over the well-being of our people.”

President Trump has no business deploying U.S. military assets against Venezuela, a country that in no shape or form represents a threat to the security of the United States, especially not now when a pandemic is raging around the world and in our own country.
