Many politicians are disappointed in the election process and the electoral college this year.

The anger among Sanders backers by the time of the convention at the end of July was palpable.

The Trump dilemma, as well as the whole Hillary Clinton mess, could have probably been avoided if Bernie Sanders had been nominated.

"Why are we the only major country on Earth not to guarantee healthcare to all people? Why are we the only major country not to have paid family and medical leave?"

Bernie Sanders has spent his life fighting for progressive causes. As the world braces for the Trump presidency, Sanders shows no signs of slowing down.

Figures like Sanders, Ellison, and Elizabeth Warren embody both the ideas and the integrity Democrats will need to mobilize their base and win back lost voters.

While Sanders lost the primary, he has not given up the fight.

The Democratic Party needs to become a cause more people want to fight for. In the midst of defeat, it has that chance.

“And I say to Mr. Trump, from the bottom of my heart, and I know I speak for millions of fellow Americans: Mr. Trump, we are not going backwards in terms of bigotry.”
