The United States has the potential to become truly exceptional. Job creation, U.S. corporate tax code reform, keeping jobs in the U.S., alternative forms of energy, better transportation, and so many other improvements can be made to positively change such a powerful country.

When government contractors spend money, the American taxpayer has to foot the bill. There should be a restriction on all political activities by corporations getting more than half their income from the federal government.

The U.S. government is acting in an aggressive manner towards the rest of the world as if to achieve world domination and power. War and militaristic action are how they plan to achieve this goal and have been using these tactics for years.

Our government is a dysfunctional, corporate-ruled mess with a massive debt that has gotten out of control. “A massive tsunami, a mega-powerful financial tidal wave, is growing in intensity off the shores of America” and only we can stop the chaos that seems inevitable.

A decision was recently made saying the NSA surveillance program goes beyond what is appropriate under the Patriot Act. With the Patriot Act up for renewal in a couple weeks, this ruling will hopefully get U.S. citizens to rise up and demand this government respect their privacy.

The government has been using fear as a weapon against truth-telling, by harassing, threatening, and imprisoning whistleblowers. Citizens like Jeffrey Sterling are being punished for speaking out against the corruption.

The current way government is running and the power the corporate elite have in politics has deterred the average American citizen from taking pride in one's country. An uncivil war is what has occurred here and it is time to make a change.

At the heart of privatization, people take from society, demand freedom and defund government. But the belief that self-centeredness will benefit everyone is backwards—it's time for great individuals to emerge from cooperative efforts.

Democracy is a government governed by the people and many citizens believe this is still how the United States is running. But in today’s society, unfortunately, we are living in a country controlled by the wealthy. People need to join together to change this.

With all that said, this is a country which America should now put in its place, it must lay down the law and make it clear to the leaders of Israel that the U.S. will no longer be guided in any way by its dictates and demands.
