Climate change is real, and it is worsening. That it should play a central role in the U.S. elections is undebatable.

Thus, the ugliest consequence to wasting billions on Pentagon missiles rather than funding education—stupidity—is a greater threat even than climate change.

No cushy benefits. No national security briefings. No perks for the worst president in history.

We are at a stalemate. Opponents of the ACA have no viable replacement and supporters have no power to stave off the Republican bulldozer.

If we continue to ignore the hunger, poverty and desperate families and communities of our young, we guarantee there will be a huge, violent population plagued by crime, drug addiction and high incarceration rates. If we save the children, we save society.

This is no joke, it’s not the least bit funny, it shows that this country is in deep, deep trouble.

If they really want to "improve the state of the world," they should be using all their lobbyists and lawyers to make sure their tax money is supporting a cooperative national effort to protect the environment for their great-grandchildren and to remain competitive in the technologies of the future.
