The good news/bad news is that Trump is no better at criminality (or hiding secrets or deflecting retribution) than he is at being a mock, TV-celebrity president.

My betting is Trump remains president at least through 2020 – absent compelling and indisputable evidence he rigged the 2016 election.

A historic showdown is again looming in Chicago.

If we continue in the selfish, greedy, divisive ways of the past, the weather patterns will become more extreme and unpredictable, the air and waterways will become more toxic, loss of life will increase and the associated environmental ills will deepen.

The electoral field, thanks to history’s most vulnerable president, is wide open – handing the left a great opportunity for a stunning harvest.

First, Donald Trump has been a giant wake-up call that we can’t take democracy for granted.

You have not pledged yours souls to the Republican Party. You have pledged yourselves to America. Now is the time to deliver on that pledge.
