Greasy politicians use education funds to enrich corporations – and themselves.

While DeVos gives the silent treatment to news organizations, public officials, rights advocates, and educators, she maintains an open-door policy for those prone to agree with her.

The DeVos couple are pushing plutocratic policies that reject our country's one-for-all, all-for-one egalitarianism.

“Today, the Secretary of Education ... refused to affirm that she would put forward a program that would ban discrimination based on the LGBTQ status of students or ban discrimination based on religion.”

The irony is obvious - taking money from the taxpaying public to destroy a vital public institution that, unlike charter schools, must take all comers.

“It’s Betsy Devos’s job to put students – not predatory colleges and the student loan industry – first.”

What Trump and DeVos are proposing in this budget is not only to take resources away from students, but to turn around and give more money to schools that would potentially discriminate against them.

It’s clear, no matter which company wins, the students lose.
