At the Democratic National Convention, Bernie Sanders laid out a bold, progressive policy agenda that diverges from Vice President Kamala Harris’s platform. While his critiques could challenge Harris, they might also help her appeal to moderate voters by providing a contrast to Sanders’s more radical positions.

Ideally this can be resolved by the Democrats engaging in focused strategic and tactical consideration with one over-riding goal: How to retain the White House and Senate and win back the House.

If the Democrats cannot bridge their plausible domestic agenda with a convincing, majority belief system, the future will lurch from crisis to crisis—or worse.

The DNC authorized the release of the following transcript of her speech as follows...

It's beginning to seem like history is simultaneously repeating itself as both tragedy and farce.

"The fact that our nation is the only advanced industrial country without universal healthcare cannot be blamed on Republican obstruction alone. It was also caused by Democratic leaders who've spent decades catering to corporate interests."

“Democrats who understand the profound need for Medicare for All don’t want a pat on the head. We want a genuine political commitment to healthcare as a human right.”

The number of famous men accused of such assaults recently is astounding. Harvey Weinstein, Bill Cosby, Donald Trump, Joe Biden.

And instead of reporting on this urgent story, the media have enabled this dangerous behavior.
