Yes folks, Reaganland and Trumpworld don't seem to want to go away... unless more of us say 'Enough is Enough!'

Why then is America, a country noted for its pride (many might say arrogance), slipping so precipitously in our basic functions?

We on the Portland Peace Team were invited out the other day to provide some nonviolent public safety for the local demonstration...

“Am I pleased that the 12 children and their coach in Thailand were rescued? Of course I am. I just wish that an equivalent effort was being made to rescue each of the 50,000 children we will kill today, tomorrow, the next day and the day after that….”

The results and ideas should be shared, and the costs should be pooled, regardless of whether it is a rich country or a poor country that is paying.

This is Joe Biden’s moment to do what he always thought he could do, what he wanted to do from the get-go.

“The greatest purveyor of violence in the world: My own government, I cannot be silent.”

The simple reality is that violence will only end when each one of us is committed to ending it. Are you?

“So far, I’m massively unimpressed by Trump’s voters, the overwhelming number of them refusing to make themselves known publicly as opposed to many of Trump’s ugliest utterances.”

Attempts to fix this have been made from time to time, but never garnered enough votes to mount a successful fix to this fundamental flaw.
