Maybe, just maybe, when this long, drawn out, reality show version of a presidential election finally comes to a welcome end, it may be possible that this media will turn its attention to critically important world affairs, especially the conflict in Syria; and the American people will no longer remain in the dark.

If the Trump administration truly wants to find a way out of the wars in the Middle East and make the United States safer from terrorists, it would do well to stop arming, aiding and abetting the ruthless Saudi regime.

It remains to be seen whether military service will ultimately narrow or broaden social gaps.

Policy decisions by the United States will have a critical impact on whether there will soon be peace in Ukraine, or only a much longer and bloodier war.

Sadly, the more this empire focuses our attention on phony wars and regime change, and not on the slow bankrupting of this economy... Apocalypse Now won't be a redux, but a reality!
