Trump and Giuliani censure Hillary for her husband's extramarital affair, when their own relationships have been equally scandalous, and many “conservatives” encourage this cruel hypocrisy.

It's not a game for the 200 million struggling Americans who depend on tax revenue for education and housing and health care. 

The CIA is big on “lessons learned”. One of the lesson to be learned here is a) that fame is fleeting and b) there’s more to running for office than buying TV ads.

Trump will assume the most powerful position in the world, the presidency of the United States. But there is still a force more powerful: movements.

This coup is a disaster, and besides Bernie Sanders and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, no major North American politician has pushed back against it.

It reflects a disregard for historical truth, an aggressive assertion of U.S. superiority, and the continuation of exploitative colonialist practices that harm both the environment and Latin American people.

More profits for the privatizers, more health concerns and expense and disdain for the public. 

Trickle-down economics has proven itself a cruel hoax.

This further illustrates the cruel irony of “justice” under neoliberalism – the jailing of activists, journalists and progressive leaders, as the cover for an implementation of the policies of austerity, and a distraction for the corrupt personal dealings of the ruling political elite.
